Yes. The XTV models (Frontier, Aurora, Conquest) are amphibious out of the box: the sealed hull provides flotation and the rotating wheels propel the vehicle through water at roughly 5 km/h. No modification or preparation is needed — you drive in and drive out. The Xplorer and Magnum are land-only vehicles.

An ARGO is an off-road vehicle: it must be registered with the SAAQ to use trails and public land, but it is not street legal. We handle the paperwork at purchase and walk you through the rules that apply to your use.

The 8x8 adds a pair of wheels, which increases ground contact, payload and stability — especially in soft terrain, on slopes and in water. The 6x6 is shorter, lighter and more manoeuvrable on narrow trails, and costs less. For group hunting or hauling loads, the 8x8 is the usual choice.

Yes. Eight-wheel traction, or optional tracks, lets it move through deep snow where a conventional ATV gets stuck. Many customers use it for winter cabin access, trail clearing or maintaining remote installations.

For hunting, it comes down to how many people and how much gear you carry, and whether you need to cross water. The Frontier 650 or 700 in 6x6 suits two or three hunters on mixed terrain. For a group, heavy game or swamps, the Aurora 800 or 950 in 8x8 offers 6 seats on land, over 1,000 lb of payload and the traction you need. Huntmaster versions come hunting-ready.

No. Listed prices are the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP), before destination charges — $650 for ATVs and side-by-sides, $1,300 for XTVs — and before preparation, taxes and registration. We provide a detailed quote that breaks out each item.

Yes, and we recommend it. A test drive lets you feel the skid-steer handling, which is very different from a conventional ATV. Contact us to book a slot and we will prepare the vehicle that matches your intended use.

It depends on the chassis. A 6x6 typically carries 4 people on land; an 8x8 carries 6 on land and 4 in water. Payload follows the same pattern: around 780 lb for a Frontier 8x8 and over 1,000 lb for an Aurora 950.

Every used vehicle goes through our shop before being listed. The inspection, any repairs performed and any remaining warranty are shown on the vehicle page, under the History tab.

Yes. We appraise ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles and ARGO vehicles as trade-ins on a purchase. Bring it in by appointment, or send photos and the odometer reading for a first estimate.

Yes, Garage Marcil is also an ARGO rental centre. Renting suits businesses with a one-off job in difficult terrain, municipalities, and individuals who want to try a model over several days. Contact us for availability and rates.

It is training for businesses and organizations whose crews use an ARGO at work. It covers skid-steer driving, entering and exiting water, obstacle crossing, safe loading and basic maintenance. It can be held at our location or yours.
